Comments: This is to say thank you and well done to all at Okavango Car hire.  We were extremely pleased with the services provided, from the airport transfer into Windhoek, the rental car and the car rental rental procedure and instructional demonstration, the camping equipment and extras added into the vehicle for our trip, as well as the tips and friendly advice for our trip from Windhoek through Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia. The tyres proved on the vehicle were the BEST, and better than every other rental car company we saw. We drove over 6000kms and had only one tyre flat, over some extremely bad terrain.

The Toyota we hired was very new with low kms, we had no engine problems, the vehicle was a pleasure to drive, and was extremely economical. Our stay at the Okavango Guest house when we arrived back was also very nice, with very good facilities available.

We will definitely recommend Okavango Car hire to everyone visiting Namibia, thanks again!

I recently completed a 3300 km trip around Namibia in one of your vehicles. The Landrover Defender supplied was in very good condition and other than a loose battery lead completed the trip with no breakdowns or punctures. Comments: Dear Rudi and Natascha, Back in Schaffhausen we look back at a great holiday adventure in Namibia and Botswana. We would like to thank you and compliment you and the Okavango team on the way you take vehicle renting seriously. We recognized the importance of having a reliable and well equipped vehicle, as in countries as Namibia and Botswana you are greatly dependent on your vehicle under the harsh conditions you can encounter. It is always a kind of guess when you make bookings via the internet and do not know who is on the other side. At the same time you hear from many people having bad experiences now then. We rented before for holidays in the region but always in South Africa. Although we wanted to rent a Land Rover again at first, we were not able to do so, because there were none available anymore in Windhoek. You advised us to take the (more comfortable) Toyota HILUX double cab instead and promised us that we would be pleasantly surprised. Indeed we were, the Toyota drives just as good or even better than a Land Rover. Moreover, because the superb Goodrich tyres you have on your vehicles ? we never saw anyone else with tyres with profile that came even close ? we never had a flat tyre and even barely had to use the low gear, let alone the diff-lock. Your years of experience in the renting business really pays out and is reflected in the professional way you have equipped your vehicles and your service minded attitude.
